We collect a work email. Everything else is optional.

Last updated 28 July 2026

What we collect

The work email address you type into the waitlist form. That field is the only required one, and we reject personal addresses because the waitlist is for companies.

You can also give us your name, your company and your job title. Those three are optional, they're marked optional on the form, and leaving them blank changes nothing about your place on the list. We ask so we know who we're building for.

Alongside it we store the time you signed up, which form on the page you used, and your browser's user-agent string. We also store a one-way salted hash of your IP address, to stop one person submitting the form hundreds of times. The hash won't turn back into an address, and we never store the address itself.

Why we collect it

To tell you when StorePatrol launches, and to send you a short confirmation that you're on the list. We may also email you once or twice before launch to ask what you'd want the product to do, because your answers decide what we build first. If you gave us a company and title, we use them to understand who's asking. That's the extent of it. No newsletter, no unrelated marketing.

Where we keep it

In a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, our data processor. We send confirmation emails through Resend. Those two providers process your address on our behalf and for no other purpose.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell, rent or share your address with anyone.
  • We don't run advertising or retargeting pixels, and we don't buy data about you from anyone else.
  • We don't connect analytics to your email address. What you type into the waitlist form is masked in Clarity recordings and never reaches Google Analytics.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which sections people read, and Microsoft Clarity to see how the page gets used, including recordings of scrolling and clicking. Both set cookies on your device.

Neither runs until you allow it. On your first visit everything is switched off by default and you're asked to choose. Decline and no analytics cookie is written, Clarity never loads, and Google Analytics receives only an anonymous, cookieless ping. Accept and both run normally. You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Whatever you choose, the waitlist form still works, and the fields you type into are masked so they never appear in a recording.

Getting it deleted

Reply to any email we send you and ask, or write to privacy@storepatrol.xyz. We'll delete your address and confirm it. You don't need to give a reason. We keep signups until launch, or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first.

Changes

This will change once there's an actual product with accounts and data in it. We'll update this page and email everyone on the list before the change takes effect.
